Marketing Manager
Attwood Corporation, a Brunswick
Company, is the world's leading manufacturer of marine
accessories for the boating industry, including a wide range of
seating, hardware, fuel systems, navigational lighting, pumps,
and other electro-mechanical components.
We are seeking a creative
Marketing Manager to support our Lowell, MI, team. The primary
responsibility of this position will be to plan, direct, and
coordinate marketing plans that will drive sales for the entire
product line.

This position will be
responsible for:

Utilizing
Interactive Media to determine optimal search engine plan,
research and recommend web based marketing campaigns, ensure
that all Attwood website(s) content is S.E.O. compliant,
determine our involvement in additional web based venues, and
provide sales with an effective tool (buy it now) to leverage
online retailers to promote Attwood products on their web site

Protecting the
Attwood brand standards across all marketing activities, work
with Category Managers to develop branding for new products, and
develop packaging that drives sales and promotes a premium
message

Evaluating internal
needs and develop a Marketing work flow process to ensure time
lines are met
-
Planning, directing
and coordinating marketing plans and trade shows that drive the
sales of all Attwood brands, develop collateral material in
support of product lines, and ensure that the product / services
are marketed in accordance with budgeted guidelines, oversee the
research, sales promotion, and advertising for existing and new
product rollout

Evaluating market
conditions to determine if changes are required to the marketing
philosophy

Assembling marketing
materials to support the sales department, and conduct training
throughout the year both on-site and via webinar
-
Overseeing all V.O.C.
activities, recommend POS programs, and manage promotional items

Determining
appropriate Print Media marketing strategy and oversee catalog
development and new product sell sheets

Assisting in
development of efficient pricing models, oversee and ensure that
E&O procedures are adhered to and find outlets to move products
in these categories

Supervising Graphic
Designer and Outside Marketing resources

Working with parent
company resources to promote PR opportunities, and maximize
exposure opportunities for the MotorGuide brand
Successful candidates
will have a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business, with 5 – 10
years experience in a marketing oriented environment, sales /
merchandising promotion environment, ad agency, or a marketing
department of a packaged goods manufacturer. Candidate must
understand how to reach both the end consumer and B2B customer.
Candidates without this experience will not be considered.
Candidates having 5+ years experience working in the sport fishing
and / or boating markets preferred.
Position requires high
level knowledge of PC's, software including MS Office (Word, Excel.
Access and Power Point), and internet marketing strategies.
Candidate must possess good verbal and written communication skills,
and be able to execute multiple initiatives autonomously.
